This is all fascinating! I loved A Chorus Line when it opened, and after it closed, I purchased and read each of the three related ACL and Michael Bennett books that came out. When he died, I actually shed a tear or two...and am pleased that it's being revived. I thought the opening and closing of that years Tonys featuring ACL was like 'crack' to me...I was instantly addicted to the show and all connected to it (thank the Gods that be for getting me a dvd copy of it). I guess I was like todays Wicked or Rent devotees. I've collected every poster and much memorabilia from the show, and would NEARLY sell my soul for a hat from the finale. I bid $400 for one years ago at the annual flea market/auction...and it went for over $1000! People still care for A Chorus Line.
