Alice Playten was the original Bet in "OLIVER"
she went on to "Hello Dolly" and stopping the show in
"Henry Sweet Henry" and most recently she played the Grandmother in "Caroline or Change" quite a career.
and Sarah Litzingeras was Bet in the La Pone revival of "OLIVER" and went on to play Belle in "Beauty and the Beast" and was also in "AMORE"

The little girl from Will Rogers Follies is now an actress that many on this board have verbally slapped around for attempting to return to Broadway:

On an related note, I was watching the Broadway Showstoppers, volume 2 DVD this evening, and really enjoyed the "Nine" number they showed. What happened to THOSE kids? Four young boys (around 10-12)who did an wonderful routine with tamborines in the "Be Italian" number.

Also in the original cast of OLIVER was a kid named Davy Jones playing the Artful Dodger. I wonder what ever happened to him...
And in the Pre-Broadway tour of the revival with Patti LuPone and Ron Moody, Oliver was played by some kind named Christian Slater.

Christian Slater was also in THE MUSIC MAN with Dick Van Dyke, with my friend Lara Jill Miller (as Amaryllis) who went on to star in Gimme a Break on television and is now the voice of Juniper Lee in Cartoon Network's The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, as well as Clifford on PBS's Clifford's Puppy Days.
That's also Lara as the voice of Pinocchio in that DiGiorno Pizza commercial.

Hahaha...I saw Davy Jones in Walt Disney World this spring and he talked about being in OLIVER. He had the audience join in with him while he sang Consider Yourself.

Denise Van outen was in Les Mis in London. The kid who played Gavroche on the 10th Anniversary Concert and Dodger on the hey Mr Produce video was doing something not long ago... i'll try and find out what it was!

Danielle Briseboise - the original Molly was discovered by Carol O'Conner during her Annie run, and was put on All in the Family. As she grew up, she toured in the 25 (?) year anniversary tour of Hair as Sheila (along with Tachina Arnold.)
She cut out a solo album called "Arrive All Over You", and then a second, before becomming a member of the New Radicals (Famous for "You Get What You Give"). She is still in the music industry, although sh eis behing the scenes.
Irene Cara made her debut at a young age in The Me Nobody Knows, as did Diane Lane in Runaways.
Also from The Me Nobody Knows was Hattie Winston, who went on to star in a few Broadway shows long before her role as Ted Danson's receptionsist (?) on Becker.

Lacey Chabert was (little) Cosette on Bway one of the many times I saw Les Miz.
Does anyone remember when "On Borrowed Time" was on Bway with George C. Scott and Nathan Lane? There was a little boy in that - I forget his name and can't seem to locate my old Playbill. He was outstanding.

You are right about Danielle Briseboise, Justice. I think she writes songs for popular musicans now.
