It's physically IN the Marquis hotel. You go up to I think the second or third floor. There are signs everywhere once you walk into the hotel.

3rd floor. You can take the escalators or the elevator. You can't miss it.

Oh ok... thanks. I wasn't sure if there was a street level entrance or you had to go through the hotel. That must be a pain when they let the theater out after the show.

The so-called Marquis Hotel is actually the Marriott Marquis (the Marriott name is more promenent on the signage), located on Broadway between 45th and 46th Streets. Any subway that goes to 42nd Street/Times Square will get you close enough to walk. The best way to enter the theatre is to walk west from Broadway on either 45th or 46th and walk into the porte-cochere (look out for taxis, they'll run you down)and through one of the big revolving doors into the ground floor lobby of the hotel. From there you can take an escalator to the third floor where the theatre is located. One nice bonus of being in a hotel is that, if you need to use the restrooms during intermission, take the escalators up to the 8th floor hotel lobby and there's never a line.
