Which Billy opened?

OK, don't kill me. I've been sick and off the boards for a couple of weeks so I missed it. Which Billy ended up going on for opening night?

My husband and I are headed there next weekend for a big birthday/anniversary weekend so we will see it on the 23rd. I don't care which one we see. I was just curious who ended up opening after all the forecasting.

Again, don't be mean to me...I'm still not feeling well.

Thanks.

I wonder how they determined which of the 3 opened?

re: Which Billy opened?

I think someone said because Kiril got the first preview and David got the main press night. But I'm assuming it also had something to do with that he's also done the show in London, so he's had more experience with the role.

re: Which Billy opened?

does anyone know who was on tonight? Also do you think that they will skip Trent this weekend bc he did opening night?

re: Which Billy opened?

David was on tonight. So kiril will do the matinée tommarrow unless Trent does it and they give kiril the night performance. I guess we will all find out a hour before the show tommarrow.

Just John, it also may have something to do with how Trent's first performance was pushed back to give Kiril and David more adjusting time. Also, they each had a lot of critics.

re: Which Billy opened?

Daldry was quoted in some interview that nothing in particular determined the order this week. David, Kiril, Trent.

The ways of making it "even" were fascinating: David was reviewed by all the papers that count; Kiril got national exposure on "The View," Trent played on Opening Night.

Does anybody know who played Michael on opening night?

re: Which Billy opened?

This follows the format of the London opening. They used the ballet Billy Liam Mower for press night and the street dance Billy George Maguire for opening night.
