Which artist/band do you believe would make the next great Jukebox Musical?

Title says it all. Now, I am not the mods but lets try to keep this realistic. I cannot enforce these rules, but lets try to keep our explanations and reasonings along these lines:

- How a story could fit around the artist, their songs, or both. Whether is fiction or non fiction.

- The artist should have relevance, most jukebox shows are made from artists who have "made it". Everyone's definition of that might be different but take a look at all the most recent jukebox musicals to decide for yourself what is relevant and what is not.

- Fan casting

- Try to stay away from "Oh I want a ___ musical! It'd be so fun!" Lets have an actual discussion! Nothing wrong with those posts but this thread is meant for full discussion and thought. Like I said I am not a mod and cannot/will not enforce, but bombs away!

Personally, and this will make me sound like a teenage girl based on where the band is now, but id kill for a musical based off Panic! At The Disco's songlist. Mainly, everything before Death of a Bachelor. My idea for this would be a man who's suffering from Psychosis, due to drug related problems, who has completely fallen in love with this girl, Maria Jackson. He's delusional, so he believe's there will actually be a wedding and that they are in love. When realistically, they just see each other when they get home from work at 9:00 every evening, (Nine In The Afternoon) so he's succumb to the thought that she likes him the way he does. Clearly, he soon finds out this is not true and relapses (Nicotine).

Thats as far as I've gotten into much detail of thinking, but id love other songs where the lead is dealing with the mistake/tradegy of going after the girl and losing (Time To Dance, Hallelujah,), a scene where he interrupts her real wedding which leads to real world ramifications for him (I Write Sins Not Tradegies), a potential drug overdose/suicide attempt (This Is Gospel).

Something along those lines for a P!ATD musical is a dream of mine. You can see its not super well thought out, but his musical is incredibly theatrical, has immense potential with regards to staging, and has deep meaning to it. I think there's several different storylines you could play with for a show like this, along with many people to choose from casting wise.

Anyways, how about you? What is your idea for the next big jukebox show to hit Broadway? I look forward to reading responses.

Paul McCartney might work if you start the story after the Beatles break up. He was in depression about the breakup, starts new band and finds commercial success. Gets arrested for drugs in Japan and spends several nights in Japan prison. John Lennon is murdered and he breaks up the band Wings. His wife Linda dies of breast cancer and he remarries which turns out to be disaster. Finds love again with 3rd wife and is incredibly successful touring and last record hit the charts at #1.

As for the music, there are plenty of songs that could be possibly be used from his Wings/Solo catalog. For example, curtain opens and there is McCartney sitting alone in dark room at the piano. He starts singing "Maybe I'm Amazed" and after he starts his wife Linda walks in and stands off in the distance. This setups up the show, McCartney singing about the love of his life and best friend after the Beatle breakup.
