There's a lot of times when I wish I could rediscover "Taboo". I've loved it since the moment I bought it but sadly overplayed it. I wish I could go back to the morning after I bought it when I was sitting on my couch, listening to the whole score for the first time and loving it.

I really need to sit down and listen to the Les Miserables OBC again. It's been a while... Don't get me wrong, I have the CSR and the original French cast recording...but there's nothing like listening to the CD that started the love affair...especially with Michael Maguire on it! He'll always be up there as Enjy (please, don't beat me for this; as much as I loves me some Warlow, there's so much passion in Maguire's voice)! And Terrance...oh, Terrance...live, he disappointed me in act one, but redemeed himself later...so I try to forget about that by listening to the good old days of the OBC.
I also need to get back to Into the Woods. I played it for about a week straight, and then, something died in me... X.x

Sunday in the Park With George, which absolutely blew me away from the first listen. It remains the only CD that made me cry the first time I heard it.
recording: miss saigon. i remember knowing absolutely nothing about the show, but buying it on a whim. i sat in my car(in the parking lot of specs music) listening to the entire recording and reading the libretto. what a beautiful story unfolded.
show: sunset boulevard. what can i say? it was pure magic.

CANDIDE -- the 56 recording. It's one of the most brilliant scores ever penned for Broadway, from the overture to Glitter and Be Gay to the finale, with its 16-part obligatto chorus.
Miss Saigon. I loved it when I was little. Then we lost the soundtrack, but after maybe three years or so, I downloaded it all, and I remembered how much I loved that show.
You are sunlight and I moon...
I would love to rediscover Wicked as I heard it the first time.
When I saw the show, it was monthes before the CD came out and I thought it was absolutely breathtaking. I was in tears by The Wizard and I.
But I've always been disappointed with the CD. I felt like just didn't do an adequate job of preserving the show and have always been upset with how they butchered Defying Gravity.
As for others, I adore my Avenue Q CD and only wish that I could go back to the first time I heard it.
Others I wish I could go back to my first time are Songs for a New World, tick tick BOOM, Aida, Phantom of the Opera, Cats and You're a Good Man Charlie Brown.

"On My Own" from Les Mis. The first time heard it was on a very small record player when I was 10 years old. I'm pretty sure I ended up scratching the record because I listened to it over and over again.
Recording : Songs for a new world.. best show in the world.. I just wish it would have done better..
The Wild Party (La Chiusa) - Talk about BALLS!! Originally got this for 'Toni Collette'. She needs to do more.
'A Class Act' was a great one to listen to for the first time. A pure Joy! If there IS a 'god' out there. May you watch over 'Lonny Price'.
Sunday in the Park with George - listening to the close of Act One with the stereo turned up loud. I think I was in a kind of shock, and had to stop the CD to make a cup of tea and calm down :)
I know it's incredibly tragic, but I'm going through my entire collection (around 280 cast albums) and listening to them in date order, so I'm rediscovering lots of shows I haven't listened to for years - Merrily we Roll Along OBC and Five Guys Named Moe OLC to name but two.
So far, I've got up to 1995 - I've got the Anyone Can Whistle concert in my car, and the RNT A Little Night Music in my stereo at home. Today is a Sondheim day . . . :)
