I saw Whistle again on Friday 14th.
(Again, the impressive sudden LightNing effect made the audience jump!)
The children did fine, & sounded fine.
Claire Marlowe (my ideal Swallow: I've seen 3) was on, and did very well -
though (being used to seeing her in the role, including on tour)
I thought she looked at times as if she might be battling a nasty cold.
Being Easter, the next show's not till Tuesday;
so hopefully being given Saturday off to recover
will also help save others in the cast from catching it!
(rohingit, I hope you get to see Claire in it another time:
she's very very good.)
Tim Rogers (The Man) has so much variety in his voice,
and also so much power -
his big number near the end of Act II was stunning:
he actually seemed to be 'living it'.
Another amazing voice in fine form was that of motorbiker Garrie Harvey.
