Gentle Corine,
After examining the photo you are currently using as your logo, I am concerned as to whether you had a swollen gland when it was taken. You do seem to be favoring it in the photo. Perhaps this illness (as minor as it may be) is responsible for the inane prattle you've been posting lately.
Feel better.

Corine, the question is pretty darn broad so I'd have to say in no particular order
Dickens
Oscar Wilde
Anthony Trollope
P.D. James (oops! female)
G. B. Shaw
Thackery
Peter Ackroyd
Harold Pinter
Eugene O'Neill
Tennessee Williams
Edward Albee
Tom Stoppard (INVENTION OF LOVE)
Auden
Eurdora Welty (oops!, another female)
John Galsworthy
Victor Hugo
A. E. Houseman
Charles Leipart
Joe Orton
Margaret Mitchell (oops! damn)
Elie Weisel
Anne Frank (OK, she only wrote 1 book)
Edgar Allan Poe
Richard Wagner
T. White (THE ONCE AND FUTURE KING)
CHristina Rossetti (double damn, a poet and a female)
Elizabeth Barrett Browning (triple damn, female AMERICAN poet)
Hmmm. That's all coming readily to mind.
