I'm taking 2 minutes on this lousy dial-up modem to let you (Mr. Roxy) know that I have to agree with you about Las Vegas. My family has lived there for 20 years and there are so many wonderful things to see and do there that it never grows stale for me. Personally, I have fun going to the casinos every now and then. Then there is that gorgeous desert. It changes every hour of the day and is particularly beautiful at sunset. Miss the cold and snow? One hour and you're at the top of Mount Charleston and the ski resort located there. Want to see just what humans are capable of creating? Take a couple of hours and go visit the dam site and take the tour. Go in the early morning and watch out for the wild life all around you - coyotes, big horn sheep, eagles, wild horses....

OK - time to log off. I'm praying that someone gets out here to fix my @#&**@!!! modem soon so I can get off this dial up monster!

I just came home & it was murder

Mrs R drove it is & was scared to death. We were going out tomorrow for dinner in an Irish restaurant. Instead she stopped on the way home & got the fixings for Corned Beef & Cabbage & Irish Soda Bread.

Good luck to anyone who ventures out tonight. If you do not have to go out, do not.
