Carmen! Bright Star did not get any love or attention it seems, but I thought it was just brilliant. The other nominees were good not great, IMO. I think everyone knew Cynthia had it, and if you had witnessed her live, you definitely knew without a doubt.

Benanti was sublime. I would have voted for her. I just saw another production of She Loves Me in London that critics are going gaga over, and you cannot even compare it to how flawless and incredible the Broadway/Benanti show was. Just a whole other level. Laura was so wonderful.
