"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Hmmm. I don't think it would be then - it's the last day of the conference, plus it's at night...

Then again, I have never done SETC before. I only know things start in the morning and continue through the afternoon. Only limited events happen at night, I believe.

someone told me that you attend callbacks the entire evening of the day you audition. (i audition on Saturday..therefore, I guess I'll be going to call backs that night). What number are you?

I attend a local college, so I am not auditioning for anything. I will only be attending seminars/workshops/plays. I have yet to register - although I may be working there as an assistant.

When I go, I will be wearing my PETER PAN t-shirt - so everyone will know it 'tis I, CapnHook.

for netc's they told us that you have to perform age appropriate material. and that producers have complained in the past when people try things that are too young or old because these are professional theatres looking for their season of actors and want to see what parts you could realistically play. so while i love why from ttb, and really own that song when i sing it. i can't do it for the auditions because jon is turning 30 and i'm only 20. also we only get 2 minutes for two things, so i need something short.

SETC started today!

Where are you Matthius!?

A secondary school from FL is here doing SEUSSICAL. Can't wait for that! Everyone look for me in my PETER PAN t-shirt in the audience!

For those doing Undergrad auditions, I will be working for your auditions, so I shall see you all.

I heard Terrance Mann is here!
