Who has access to house tickets?

It's more the fact that I'm not going to post it on a message board where God only knows how many people are going to read it.

I was more than happy to PM meagan and fill her in on how to go about it though.

And why is that?

What is WRONG with everybody reading this board reading about this top-secret method of getting house seats without connections?

Is there something wrong with what you are doing?

If it was something legitimate, you should have no trouble telling people on this message board how to go about it.
There is no reason to hide behind PMs.

That is childish like having a secret handshake before you can enter the clubhouse.

You don't want to get in trouble with your bosses at where you work - perfectly understandable - which tells me AGAIN this is something they don't want EVERY ONE to know about.

And if that is the case, why are you PMing someone on this board?
Is that person anymore special than the rest of the people reading this board? Or do every single one of the readers of this message board have to PM you to get this insider information?

She specifically asked about a specific show. And, I don't have bosses. I work for myself.

It's not top secret. And it's not insider information. And getting house seats *is* completely legitimate. If you know you do and if you don't you ask someone who does. Still not going to post it on the board though.

If you know you do and if you don't you ask someone who does.
That certainly sheds light on this situation!!!

I know house seats are legitimate, but apparently how to get hold of them is still top-secret.

You want to keep it secret, fine.
Just don't go around posting on this message board that anyone without connections can get them, because it is obvious that is not so.

If how to get them is not a big deal, posting them here should NOT be a problem. I don't see how it is.

Unless of course, you don't want six zillion people indundating with request of house seats. If so, and you don't post. Thus agin limiting this information to a select chosen few. Again giving the impression it is all about CONNECTIONS which you so insistently is not the case.

If it is something innocent then it can be SHARED with the rest of us. Otherwise, your best course of action in the first place should have been to keep your fingers off the keyboard on this subject.

Your actions on this particular subjects says much more loudly than words what is really going on here.

I read through "most" of this. Not to beat a dead horse, but I am under the impression that:
1."house seats" means the first 10-12 rows of center orch.
2. Some of these seats are pulled for cast/comps. etc. but we are talking about 100 seats for every performance. They are not all spoken for every night.

I have occassionally bought seats in this area from the box office or telecharge both on Bd'w and Bd'w tours very easily. It's hard to beleive they are that hard to get for all 8 shows a week especially mid-week eves. or Wed. matinees.

CJR is correct in what she has offered. You may need to know someone in the cast for some shows, some nights. ( don't bruise your head over this, CJR).

Don't beat her up over this. There's some things that can't be spelled out online...you just gotta know what, when and who. And it's not always wise to spill the beans in every case. It's like anything else...sometimes you score, sometimes you don't.

Peace.

Bumping this thread so I can ask a question:

Is it standard procedure for there to be a $6 (per ticket) service charge when purchasing house seats? I would've thought that there was no service fee for house seats.
