I also want to meet Fosse, Kander, and Ebb. I can't pick one!!
Alix
I met Alan Cumming when he was filming Josie and the Pussycats in Vancouver. (Oscar-worthy movie. Do rent it.) Sadly, in my slightly intoxicated state (of alcohol and a chocolate buffet at their hotel), this was our exchange:
Me: *slightly slurred speech* OH! I know YOU! You're The Creepy Guy in all those movies! Right, Rachel? (Leigh Cook - Who had been patiently reminding me who he was while in the ladies room. At this point she's covering her mouth in disbelief.) You scared the SH*T out of me in that Bond movie!
Him: *tense grin*
Me: Sorry. Can I have your autograph?
My friend: We must be really pissing you off right now.
Alan: Enjoy your dessert. *walked off*
If that wasn't bad enough, I was called to work on the Josie set the next week, and he remembered me quite well.

ROFLMAO!!! Oh, Tiff, I have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard! Please, say it isn't so! PLEASE!!!
Well, at least meeting him is better than not meeting him at all!
David Hyde Pierce
David Hyde Pierce is extremely nice.
I would love to meet:
Adam Pascal
Kerry Butler
Joel Grey
and my number one choice:
DOUGLAS SILLS

If I could spend fifteen minutes with Jonathan Larson, I would consider myself one of the luckiest people alive.
On a similar note, the cast of RENT has to be full of some of the nicest people ever. Caren Lyn Manuel brightened my day so much when I met her at the stage door, and getting to talk to talk with Matt Caplan was a dream come true.
Also, getting to type to Anthony Rapp... that's just too amazing for words.

^ also with the typing to Anthony Rapp...
I'll probably say Adam Pascal though, and definitely Idina. I can't think of anyone else...hmm...
Idina!!
Since I have met Susan Egan 2 times before (and *hope* to again this weekend at Joe's Pub).. I'd have to say Idina, just because I find her to be such an interesting person on many levels, and I do think she is an awesome singer too. But that's just me
Well since I've met Marin Mazzie, Jason Danieley, and Donna Murphy already and I passed by Audra McDonald in the street, I guess next on the list would have to be Brian Stokes Mitchell. My parents met him and said he was just the nicest guy ever. So now it's my turn.
I'd like to actually have a conversation that lasts more than a minute or two with a few of the people I've met before, like Adam Pasdcal and Idina. If it was jsut a stop, say hi, you're great thing, then I'd go with Eden Espinosa.

I am still extremely sad I never got to see Jennifer Jason Leigh after Proof. I successfully made an ass out of myself in front of Josh Hamilton instead. I'd like to say her, but I've had this urge for years to meet Kevin Cahoon. He's talented, hot, and just seems like such a sweetheart.
However.....final answer: Hugh Jackman. I might actually pass out if I spoke to him.
This is old-school and he's not even American, plus I only think he did one show on Broadway but I would have to say Tommy Steel, he just seems so fun.
If Jonathan Larson was still alive, it would be him.
As of now its just Anthony Rapp and Idina Menzel for me. And Adam. Hell Ill just have a Rent reunion to myself lol.

Idina. She slipped out the secret stage door both times I saw the show! *sigh*
One person I really got to hang out with once was Alice Ripley. I was working for a Broadway radio station and she invited me to her apt to record some station IDs for the station. The station IDs took about 5 minutes and she chatted it up with my friend and I for over an hour. It was very cool.
And reading the rest of the thrad finally...Tiff.. Your stories are so ****ing funny. Did you say anything to Alan when you went back to the set?
I would also like to add Terrance Mann to my list, as well as Michael Ball.

I've been fortunate to have met many Broadway stage actors, and must admit that there wasn't a bad story in the bunch! Still keep in touch with a few, even from here in Nebraska!

Vanessa Redgrave; and
Al Pacino.

I don't know, I can't even pick a living broadway actor - as I work in the broadway community, there's only a few I haven't met at one time or another. I'm actually very good friends with Alan Cumming, I'll tell him he was the first one on this thread, he likes to hear things like that. But, I would have to pick (some of these aren't Broadway, and the ones that are aren't living),
Jonathan Larson
Mrs. Britney FEDERLINE (I can't help but adore her)
George Bush (so I can kill him)
Bob Fosse
Judy Garland

OMFG Tiff, you Kill me!! You make me laugh so damned hard tears come.
I've already met who I wanna meet. It was years ago and I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Michael Bennett for a few moments.
I didn't know we could have people who aren't alive. Deffinately Johnathan Larson, above anyone else. I saw a small clip of him on the PBS thingee, and it was so moving. I startyed to cry hysterically.
