Posted: 11/30/04 at 8:28pmWhy are they not coming out with who the new Elphaba is? I really thought it was gonna be stephanie block, but shes going on the tour. I want to buy tickets for Feb. but I want to know who is going to be Elphaba. Does anyone have a clue?

Have you somehow missed the other 40,000 posts just like this? Obviously, nobody knows! You'll just have to wait for the official announcement like the rest of us.
Go ahead and buy your tickets to WICKED. I don't think they would choose someone with lackluster talent. I can pretty much guarantee that whoever is playing Elphaba at the time will be fantastic.

Search button is your friend and stupidity engulfs you. Is it life threatning? We are all excited to find out, but if I were you I would not worry about it - trust me, it's not that big of a deal.

If people keep responding saying there are already 4,543 threads about this, eventually, they will stop. Don't post it on here - if you really can't wait to find out who's going to step into that theatrical trainwreck next, check playbill.com every day - as soon as they announce it, it will be posted on there, I guarantee you.

I know who it is too. I'm just keeping it to myself because I enjoy these posts.
Maybe they really haven't found anyone yet. Imagine getting a call from the casting directors..."Hi, we're offering you the part of ELphaba. Just be aware that after your run in this show, you may not ever be able to sing again, but hey, atleast you'll be in a sold out show while you're ruining your voice!"
