Who played Carole in Beautiful before Jessie Mueller?

In various press outings, it has been said that Jessie Mueller came into the Beautiful towards the end of the process, do we know who else played the role of Carole in previous workshops? I'd be very interested to hear who else played it, I have a hard time imagining who else could have pulled it off.

I believe Jenn Gambatese did a reading years ago opposite Richard Blake as Gerry Goffin.

Vanessa Ray played Carole for all of the most recent readings within the last few years, as far as I know.
