Who's going to see Darren Criss' first performance tonight?

I'm not going until the last week of his run, but would love to hear what others say after tonight. Okay, it's going to be me, my husband and 1200 screaming teenage girls, and I don't care!

I'm pretty curious too. I heard last night a fan screamed "I LOVE YOU DARREN!!" Ugh. Not a good sign about the crazed fans... Anyway, I wonder how good his portrayal of Finch is.

One person shouted. I believe they were asked to leave. The opening night was really good. People were really behaved. A lot of hardcore Darren and Starkid fans were there, so we were all really proud of him...we were holding hands and holding our breath. During the show you honestly could hear a pin drop from the audience. And then when it was between scenes, and after numbers, there was applause that brought the house down!!!!!!!!! I was happy. I'm a huge Starkid fan in general, and haven't had much experience with the hardcore Darren fans (esp from glee). But it went great. Stage door was insane. Was like a Hollywood red carpet. Girls climbed on his car, I kid you not. But Darren was very gracious. As for the show itself, he did wonderful. A bit nervous at first but he was amazing. He had such a short time to rehearse and he nailed it: the songs, the choreography, the acting. I'm sure it wasn't perfect (I never got to see Dan Rad to compare) but for his first night, Darren was great. Two years ago he was a recent U of M graduate finding fame from a few online musicals. Last night he made his debut on Broadway. Such a good night. Definitely check him out if you can. Congratulations Darren <3
