Chris Fitzgerald would be a good Charlie

I'm surprised none of y'all theater junkies have caught the spelling error yet...

Well, we all know you certainly wouldn't want it to be. And with good reason, too!
For the record, smartass, I wasn't nitpicking just any old spelling error. You'd have kept me busy for ages if I were out to do such a thing. But to have an entire discussion about a character all while spelling his name wrong? Come on, people.

I thought maybe you'd finally grown up just a teeny, tiny bit. But then I realized that no in fact, I just hadn't *gasp* dared to set foot in a thread you might also be commenting in in a while! You really can't let me say a word without chomping the bait, finding something to antagonize me about, can you? Go find something else to do. Perhaps like, refining your sense of humor.
(What's next, now that we've had our first little run-in in a while, you're going to follow me around and go of your way to make snarky comments about anything and everything I post? You, my dear, seriously need a new shtick.)

Em - thanks for correcting the typo. It was driving me nuts, too.
And I would love to see Raul play Charley. I missed the Kennedy Center Sondheim productions.

ANYway.
Chris Fitzgerald isn't a bad idea. He looks a little young, but not quite as young as someone like Michael Arden or John Gallagher, Jr.

It won't be a flop again if they put some hot actors in it.

Ouch!

Dearest, how can this be so? You were dead, you know. - Candide
Oh my god, this show has everything! Half naked guys and girl on girl action! - [title of show]
(My avatar? Why, yes! That is Laura Benanti making out with a chick!)

Chris doesn't look any younger or older as Lonny Price did when he played the role

I think Raul is the best choice for Charley, but I wouldn't mind the 4 who sang "Opening Doors" at Wall to Wall Sondheim.
Frank- Eric McCormick
Charley-Alexander Gemignani
Mary- Stephanie D'Abruzzo
Beth- Anne Hathaway
ps- I know the chance of Anne Hathaway playing the role is non-existent, but McCormick and D'Abruzzo are very serious suggestions.

David walked into the valley
With a stone clutched in his hand
He was only a boy
But he knew someone must take a stand
There will always be a valley
Always mountains one must scale
There will always be perilous waters
Which someone must sail

No question, Stephanie D'Abruzzo is my first choice for Mary.
