I saw it today for the very first time. I have the cast recording and loved it but being a visual artist, I was realllly scared I was going to be distracted by seeing the actors as well as the puppets. I took my brother who isnt much of a theater fan. We both LOVED it. It took about two songs to get used to it but the actors do such a great job moving with and showing the expressions that their puppet is experiencing you kinda see them as one entity. I dont want to ruin it for anyone else who hasnt seen this show, but I was very impressed with that one scene which you dont really get a sense of with the cast recording- the nightmare one, that was so cool! I always wondered what the hell happened at that part of the show. I liked the use of the video screens too. I read Jtags is leaving next month so you all better hurry if you wanna catch him. He was amazing!

Bump.
So I had a question and JUST remembered.
Did anyone happen to see this show on Thursday (the 6th)? Because apparently it was Angela Ai's first night on as Christmas Eve, so I was wondering how she was.
ALSO!! (This part gets a little crazy, but stay with me)
Peter Linz and Jen Barnhart have been gone for a little bit, and I know Carmen was on as Gary for a while, but I'm not sure if Natalie is back on or not. Anyway...Aymee's been going on for Jen, and I'm pretty sure Angela fills in for Peter, but with Angela on for Ann, who filled in for HER? I was just wondering because it seemed like they would be a little tight for people.
Aaaaaaaaand I'm done.

Yeah that was my reaction after I saw it. I wanted a drink. Well really more than one. In fact several during may have helped.

Yes! that was a bit crazy! But this may help (I hope). I went on the 5th to see the show and Natalie was back on as Gary. I can't answer the other parst to your questions though! Sorry!

Thanks TGIF.
Well Angela normally wouldn't be an issue, I'm sure, except that when Barrett or Peter hasn't been there, she's filled in. So I was just wondering who was next in line since there's a few new ensemble people...but with Natalie back on, I guess it just went to Carmen.

I know Carmen's covered for the ensemble a few times
She's had puppetry experience with TLK
