Why not? you could at least give it to Aaron Lazar, Jonathan Pryce, Ashley Brown, and Eden Espinosa!

If you're talking about the Tonys, I believe it's to be annouced at the awards ceremony with no nominations... I think I read that a while back, but I could be wrong.

Yup, there's no award in that category this year.

Here's a thread with essentially the same name as this one...Also on the first page hehe.

So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

I find that really frustrating.

I wish they had put that bill through.

The award would have validated the continuing success and popularity of a number of roles and shows (otherwise, even if they win Best Musical or Best Play, the validation sort of stops there unless you count weekly grosses et al...)

I would have loved to have seen it!
oh well

"...But Kungurtseva reels off multiple fouettes and the tape is stopped so she can take a bow. The Jester, an abomination introduced to Swan Lake in Soviet times, extorts applause from the audience. The cuts don't help the storytelling, the production is bare bones and they go for the '50s-style happy ending. The audience cheers like mad at the end. It's the Russian ballet, after all..."

There were alot of great replacements this year!

How about Harvey in Fiddler? Simon Russel Beale in SpamAlot? John O'Hurley in Chicago. I could go on for days!
