Why is "Why We Like Spelling" not included in the licensed version of "25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" from MTI? Anyone know if you can get it if you pay extra or something??

It's not included because William Finn and Rachel Sheinken decided the show worked better without it.

as i remember it is on the OBC but it was not in the show. It's one of the 'cut' songs.

On the cast recording they put it where it would go in the show, but it did get cut. But it was used for a few promotional performances...I think?

The song was cut, but they mainly used it for promotional purposes otherwise.
