Why did Nicole Parker leave Martin Short FBM?

I just realizied that shes been gone since Oct 1. Why did she do such a short run with the show? Has anyone seen Donna Vivino?

I haven't seen the show (nor Donna Vivino,) but I know that Parker left to return to LA so she could begin work on the new season of Mad TV.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Vivino will be leaving the show at the end of next month anyway to begin rehearsels for Legally Blonde (she'll be playing Enid,) so it looks like a third actress will be stepping into this role.

We always knew Nicole had to go back to her contracted job with MAD TV, but always held out hope that the powers that be there might give her more time off. They didn't. But her talent made it easy to decide that it was worth doing with her for however long she could do it.

Meanwhile, we got outrageously lucky, cause Donna Vivinno has come in and done a fantastic job of making it her own and showing off her talents as an impressionist, as well as the singing and dancing she has been doing on Broadway since she was a little tyke in Les Miz.

When Donna leaves us for Legally Blonde, we hope it will perfectly coincide with Nicoles hiatus from MADTV.

That's the story!

Marc

p.s. our female understudy Jill Abromowitz is also insanely talented and funny. We have been blessed.

Donna can do it all. I got to see her in San Francisco as Tracy in "Hairspray" (as well as in her regular role) and in "The Opposite of Sex".
"I've lost everything! Luis, Marty, my baby with Chris, Chris himself, James. All I ever wanted was love." --Sheridan Crane "Passions" ------- "Housework is like bad sex. Every time I do it, I swear I'll never do it again til the next time company comes."--"Lulu" from "Can't Stop The Music" ----- "When the right doors didn't open for him, he went through the wrong ones" - "Sweet Bird of Youth" ------------ --------- "Passions" is uncancelled! See NBC.com for more info.

Rathnait62, Enid Hoopes is the lesbian law school student. Definitely a character role which probably won't showcase Donna's amazing talent the way FBM does.

Donna is amazing in FBM...if you haven't seen it, go! Most people are shocked by how talented she is because they've only seen her in the ensemble of Hairspray, but you will not be disappointed! PS-the show is good too :)

The only thing I've seen her in (not counting owning the OBC of LES MIZ of course) was the OPPOSITE OF SEX presentation in NYC. I was extremely impressed.
