I would really like a recording of this as well, but it seems very complicated.
The reason Harry got away with "Harry on Broadway" was because he was the only star in the show. If they decided to go with a "Cyndi on Broadway" (which they won't), they would be snubbing stars like Ana Gasteyer, Jim Dale, Alan Cumming, and Nellie McKay, whom - you're all forgetting - is signed to a label as well.

The show in my oppinion is going to be amazing *I see it Saturday* from what ive seen in clips. Im so excited to see it. But yeah there should definaly be a cd!

And stay there until there is an announcement.

If they felt that they couldn't market the cd to her fans, they would be against it.
Plus it would be a difficult transaction if it is a different label than the one she records on.

I know Nellie had problems of some sort with her label.
I know Cyndi's label hasn't been up on this recording.
It really sounds like the powers that be don't care. Though I hope they are doing their best to get a recording.
