" c'mon, seeing Tom Hewitt sing upside down..."
Gee, I would have loved to see this!
And, sorry BobbyBubby, but Mr Wildhorn does have an enormous amount of talent. Please check out all the successful songs he has written for other famous singers, as well as his Broadway ones. Not EVERY song is going to be a hit, let's get real. When I saw The Civil War, I thought all the songs, except for a couple maybe, were very good. All were concert worthy, and for someone to be so prolific, well, they must have a great amount of insight and talent inside of them to write so much good music.
That the show was not presented well? I'm beginning to gather that Frank Wildhorn's greatest loss is at the helm of coherence and artistry in producing a show. But his music, I don't think so.

I love when people put words in quotation marks like they don't believe those words actually exist.
It's "stupid."

...B3TA07, talking about my quote, by any chance? Because a quote, to me, is a quote about somebody elses's words. I'm not sure what you mean by (and again I quote
) "...like they don't believe those words actually exist."
What...?!

No, I meant the person who always shows up to post about Wildhorn and A Tale of Two Cities musicals (with the booby avatar) saying, to paraphrase, that Wildhorn got into "trouble" with AEA for undercutting the singers. Like...how do you find quotation marks necessary? Because you don't think he really did anything wrong? Because you like to pretend he didn't get in "trouble?"
whattttttt

Hey B3TA07 I like my Carolee-booby avatar
!
Wildhorn never got into ""trouble"" exactly (I'm putting this in quotes because it doesn't really "exist") from what I remember, because he never theoretically did it while still in the Equity terms. But then again, he was facing problems if was even close to being able to release it ...
Sorry I do not fangirl for Wicked, Next to normal, Rent, Legally Blonde, Mamma Mia!, Hairspray and the slew of other shows you most likely pride yourself upon.

A Tale of Two Cities: Music by Frank Wildhorn.
I totally would pay money to see that.

But there were/are Three versions going around: Santoriello's, and two others, one had a legally released concept album and then there was another one with Chuck Wagner - so I assume Frank heard from Chuck and changed his mind about it.
