Hi y'all,
The Wicked Tour is in Boston and I'd really like to take my mother for an early birthday present, but almost all of the tickets are $200+. On ticketmaster a couple of the dates have cheaper seats that are "Offer Code Required". Does anyone know the code?
Thanks!
If you or someone in your family has AAA, it looks like the company is offering a discount code for 15% off ticket prices.
Thank you! I do have AAA, but it's for tomorrow nights show only!
There is a code "artsboston." They are limited view seats, but not as extreme side as the orchestra boxes. I've sat in these seats before and they aren't that bad, and I'd sure as heck rather pay for these rather than spend almost $200 per ticket. There is a special Ticketmaster link though. Tickets are $61.50. You have to buy the performance you want a week ahead of time.

Find the performance you want and there is a page you need to enter the code. You also need to sign up for a Broadway Across America account.
Do you know how much the Limited View obstructs?
To be honest, I don't remember too well. All I do remember it was more bearable than sitting in the orchestra box seats. I think the view is slightly better the further back you are. I had this section for Cats, Row N, and I didn't really miss anything.
The good orchestra seats range from around $175-$250, which is nuts. I think for $61.50, you're definitely getting a good deal. Yes, you'll miss certain things, but I don't think it's that significant enough to justify buying the super expensive seats. You'll definitely be able to see the important scenes.
I started this thread about the Boston lotto and some people commented that you don't really miss anything at all in the "artsboston" limited view seats:
