Well the show is only not selling out on Tuesday nights and Wednesday mats. The rest of the week is doing pretty well. It's definitely the economy though. The city itself is pretty dead (considering Thanksgiving is next week). I don't think the show is any trouble. Hopefully it will pick up. It has enough money from earlier in its run to run for probably a year with little to no audience.
Please pardon my newbiness, but I have no idea what you mean by comps. And I'm a bit surprised that people are saying that they are having trouble, I went to Wicked on the 19 of this month and while it wasn't a full house, it was mostly full. I saw the matinee that day and performed in the evening performance and they both sold really well I thought.
Just because the seats are filled doesn't mean they were paid for.
