Wicked Sunday performance schedules?

Hi everyone, so I noticed something strange about Wicked and am very curious about it. Apparently for some Sundays (such as 7/22/12), they are showing 2 shows on Ticketmaster. One matinee at 2 PM, and one at 7:30 PM. I find this to be extremely strange because there are still 2 shows on Saturday, so that would mean they have two 2-performances days, back to back. And it's not every Sunday that they have this either, but once in a couple of weeks. Could this be a mistake? (Broadway.com and Wicked's official website is saying 3 PM for Sundays.) I personally haven't seen a show schedule like this.
Also, I wonder what happens to the lottery for Sunday matinee then, the box office says it opens at noon on Sunday, yet they are supposed to draw lottery tickets 2 hours prior to the show, which means noon if it's a 2 PM performance... So that's just really weird to me - how can people enter lotto if the box office isn't even open? Can anyone shed some light on this bizarre situation?

Sometimes they add extra performances. Sometimes they are like benefit performances. Have the weeks that have these extra performances had any of the normal performances removed? I do know that sometime in December the performance schedule will adapt to have a four show weekend which I think is crazy, but whatever floats their boat.

I believe this Sunday evening is their Actor's Fund performance.

Other than for events like that, Wicked will have a Sunday evening show when the following Monday is a holiday. They typically won't have a Wednesday matinee that week.

On a 9 show week like this one (because they'll do 8 shows, plus an Actor's Fund performance), the standbys would be scheduled to go on at one performance in the 4 show weekend, so the leads still only perform 8 shows.

Wicked already did their Actors Fund performance for this year - it was May 6th. Both Wicked and Lion King added a 9th performance this week (Wicked tonight at 7:30, Lion King had a matinee on Friday). They are also both adding a 9th performance on Sunday, August 12th.
