For karatekid1: I sat in many parts of the theatre and the mezz is one of my personal favorites. I hope this helps.

if they don't have poor eye sight they should be fine. If they do tell them to bring binoculars because they will need it. I mean it is one of the (if not the) biggest houses on broadway.

Capacity wise, The Gershwin Theatre is the biggest currently having a show on Broadway. The Hilton Theatre is just shy of that by less than ten seats, I believe. The Broadway Theatre seemed to go farther back than the Gershwin.

The mezzanine is perfect for Wicked. Since they are far back, yes, they will see everything. However they won't make out facial expressions and such. The seats will have a great view of the stage, actiong, staging and everything. They won't really miss anything, just some laughs due to facial expressions.

Shouldn't you ask this before you buy the tickets? (not saying this in a rude tone)

Are there any pics of the view of the stage from this seating area?

Pictures in any theatre do not help at all. They always make things look smaller.

Plus, photographs in a theatre is not allowed.

Good thing the acting in Wicked requires no use of facial expressions.

I sat in the second to the last row of the rear mezz. It was fine.
