Saw Wicked back in 2003, but looking to go again with a friend on Friday, March 4, 2005. The show is SOLD OUT (Surprise! Surprise!)!!! Any suggestions??
Also, how's the view from Mid Mezzanine - Row G?? Someone once informed me that all the seats/views were good as long as you weren't to the far left or right of the orchestra....is this true???
PLEASE HELP ME!?!?!
You can try the cancellation line and lottery - more luck with the cancellation line though.
I have no clue about the mezz for seeing this show. Sorry

Definitely do the cancellation line, you're guaranteed seats almost 100%.

Yes, unless you're on far L or R, generally all seats are pretty good because of sloping floor (so nobody's head will be in the way). The Gershwin is a pretty good-sized theatre, so there IS a distance factor, though. i sat row C mezz, house right, and the view was pretty good. We got canc tix a few nights later for the very last row of the orch and I almost liked those better!
If you've only got one shot at getting in, I would certainly go for the canc line. Unlike the lotto, arriving early matters, so go ahead and show up at least 1-2 hrs before the canc window opens. Sometimes folks unfamiliar with rushing shows will show up early for the lotto when they don't have to, and they see a line (for canc) and get in it. The lotto people have to stay outside, but the box office (for purch AND canc) is inside, so when the staff finally opens the doors, be sure to make a break for it.
Most of the people who HAD been in line will have to stay outside for the lotto, and you can really move up the real canc line during the stampede towards the velvet ropes. lol. Good luck!
Thanks a million for the info!!
Are the cancellation seats always good???
No, it just depends on what they end up with. Last time I was lucky, I got row C, center orchestra. Cancellation is definitely the best way to go, though. Often the seats are pretty good.
Is cancellation cash only?
How p*ucked is the view from these seats:
Orchestra section, Row C, Seats 20 and 22??

I've sat Mid Mezz and those seats are fineee. I feel like once your past row 10 and you can't see facial expressions, does it really matter where you sit, because it's pretty much the same.
This was answered before but anyway... How are those partial view seats??
I'm looking to buy tickets for any date (I don't care when I just wanna get in and see the show again!) I wanna spend $40-$60... are there any seats in this range?
