Heard a rumor about Wicked opening in the West End at the Palladium summer of 2005 with Kristin and Idina. Anyone else heard about this?

Last Palladium rumour going round was that of The Sound of Music. But it looks pretty certain that Chitty will go once the Broadway dates are confirmed. Personally, I think Wicked in England would be a bad idea - such a financial risk in the current climate.

plus.. I very much doubt Idina and Kristin would come with it, even if it did come. It would almost certainly go to TV stars such as Denise Van Outen (Glinda), though she hasn't got the oomph to pull it off. Definitely wouldn't open with unknowns (yes, Kristin Cheno-who and Idina Men-what are complete and utter unknowns).

That and Idina doesn't have a definite date of leaving the show in NY. Her contract is into Jan, but it could be extended...
