Just though I’d dedicate a tread to the Windy City’s own Wicked! This cast is truly phenomenal! I’ve seen the show twice now- right when the Chicago cast first opened, and then again last week. They just get better and better. Ana Gasteyer is an INCREDIBLE Elphaba. She has a great voice (yes, she CAN sing!) and her comic timing is impeccable. She also builds the character very nicely, adding more depth and development to the transition of the WW. Kate Reinders is a good Glinda, though I’ve heard she’s pretty much channeling Kristen Chenoweth. Still, she is very likeable and nails the vocals as well. Totally adorable and very talented. Round off the cast with Chicago’s own Ronnie Reed and Gene Weygandt as Morrible and the Wizard (who are both amazing)… well, this is an all star cast. Very well done! Thanks to the producers for loaning Chicago this great show! And thanks to this incredible cast for delivering just as much talent and brilliance as your Wicked counterparts.

Thank you Queen...I hope to catch the show in Oct. when I go out there for the USC/Notre Dame game.
