Wicked in November

Hey, i was wondering if anyone knows if Idina is planning on taking any time off in november. There's a chance i might be going to NY in november and if i do i will be going to wicked. If anyone knows it would be great if you'd be able to let me know!!

Has Shoshana actually ever gone on? I'm not quite the expert...

My friend keeps raving about her and drags me to see the show next week when Idina is off as I apparently 'just have to see Soshana'.

I believe that she either has or will be subbing for Idina during a vacation.

don't think Shoshana has gone on, but Broadway.com's Paul W wrote in his column last week that Idina is going on vacation Oct 18-24 and that Shoshana is going on that week

Yep, that's what my friend said, so we will be seeing Shosana then. I'm quite curious to see her as I heard so many good things. Saw Kristy Cates going on as Elphaba a while ago and although she has a great voice I wasn't that impressed. I felt she was rushing through the lines and was just a bit too 'whiney' for me.

NO ONE can ever be Idina or better than Idina... Idina is Elphaba and no one can ever fill her shoes...

You beat me to it. Yea, Shoshana goes on for a full week starting the 19th. It should be amazing...she could honestly read the phone book for 2 and a half hours and I'd be happy.

Anyway, since Ms. Menzel's going to be out for that week, I'm doubting she'll take time off again - this is only her second week off in a year.
