Last week I had the chance to see the tour production of Wicked, which is now atthe kimmel center in Philadelphia. I though it was an amzing production, and really made me love the show as much as I did when I saw it in NY. The show satrted off, and had to be stopped for about 20 minutes because the bubble machine didi not work. When the show was restarted, Kendra just walked on. The audience was very patient during this time.
Kendra was fantastic as Glinda! While she did nt have the vocal chops of Kristin, or the superb acting of JLT (whom I saw) she brough a spastic, funny energy to Glinda and had a lovely singing voice to boot! Julia Murney was fantastic as Elphaba. Her acting was dead-on, and her singing voice was amazing. The supporting cast was also very good. P.J. Benjamin was a great Wizard, and did the best with his Act 2 song "Wonderful". He brought a real likeable yet sinister quality to the role. The woman who played Madame Morrible (sorry, her name escapes me) was great as well. He speech in Defying Gravity was excellent. Sebastian Arcellus (sp?) played Fiyero very well. Jennifer Waldman and Logan Lipton as Nesarose and Boq were wonderful in their roles, as was Timothy Britten Parker as Dr. Dillamond.
While this tour does not have the same magic as the Broadway show, it still very much worth the visit. I recommend for anyone in Philadelphia to come and see it.

Glad you had a great time!
And I'm glad to hear that Julia is getting great reviews for her performance. I can't wait until I see her!
