alright, I wanna know if anyone knows the answer to this:

someone told me awhile ago when we were all waiting to hear who'd replace Idina and who'd be the tour Elphaba, etc., that it was taking so long to announce because Stephanie Block had been offered both and was deciding which to do.

Now, I'd heard from people who'd talked to her after shows or on chats, etc. on her website that she kept saying how she was/had auditioning/ed and how badly she wanted to portray Elphaba...

having heard both of those things, and then looking at this article, she (stephanie) talks about how one of the things that made her choose the tour was knowing she'd get to go to her hometown...

is it just me or doesn't htat sound like perhaps she was offered her choice of broadway or tour? I mean, she doesn't say "one reason I really wanted to do the tour" or "something that made me audition for the tour" or "really want the tour", she says it was a factor in why she CHOSE the tour.

Just wonderin'...now that hte Tony's are over...I need to kill some free time so I thougth I'd go sleuthin'...
