I wanted to post this review a couple of days ago, but have been under the weather. Thursday night, I saw Wicked for the third time (The second in 8 days after seeing it in Philly last Thursday. Although I was not blown away by it the first time I saw it on Broadway(January 26), I felt it deserved a second chance. I got partial view seating this time(Orch BB, seat 6-arquably the worst of these seats), which despite the description was fantastic. I don't know why these seats are still so cheap, but they are a steal! You don't miss anything important and Defying Gravity is NOT ruined!

Megan Hilty was as amazing as the first time I saw her. She plays an absolutely crazy, over the top Galinda and did not disppoint.

Eden Espinosa has greatly improved in the role of Elphaba since I first saw her. Her singing ability was never in doubt, but her acting has greatly improved. She is a strong second to Julia Murney for me.

Both Derrick Willams and Rob Sapp seemed to have more energy in their roles since I first saw them as well.I think everybody on this cast has taken their gane up a notch for one reason:the new additons to the cast.

Jenna Leigh Green is the best Nessarose I have seen or heard yet. She is absolutely amazing with Robb and Eden and a huge credit to the entire cast.

My biggest compliments go to David Garrison as the Wizard. He is an amazing actor, and his singing really suprised me as well. He is the best of the three wizards I have seen (George Hearn, P.J Benjamin). He seems like he is really having a good time in the role, and not going through the motions of playing a part. He is Wonderful!!!

After the show, I stage doored Wicked on Broadway for the forth time(I always seem to end up at this stage door no matter what show I see). The first one out was suprisingly David Garrision. It suprised me that he did not use the second Stage door used by George hearn and Ben Vereen tht three times I was there before. I told him he is the bets Wizard I have seen when he asked me if I was collecting wizards (refering to autographs) I told him I just saw the tour the week before and met his replacment. He said he misses everyone on tour very much, but is very happy to be on Broadway. I also met Megan, Eden, Jenna, Rob, and Derrick. It was a great night!

Glad you liked it, and I hope you feel better! I haven't seen Megan yet, but right now it's impossible to get tickets, so I'm pretty much counting out seeing her before she leaves re: Wicked: Broadway- 4/6 But I'm so glad Eden's great, she was the first Elphie I saw. And is Ben Vereen permanently gone? Or was it just a quick leave or something? If he is gone, that's a bummer. Loved him.
