Hey! I'm not one to usually start a thread about Wicked. I enjoy the show, not obsessed or anything though, but...
I ordered my tickets for the Toronto Tour this morning. Anyone else get tickets yet? I was very surpised. I was able to get 6 tickets. 3 are in the 3rd row orchestra, and 3 are in the 2nd row of the Mezzanine.
Has anyone been to the Cannon theatre and recall how good the veiw from the very front of the mezzanine is? I was there to see Phantom years ago up there but I really don't remember. Thanks!
I was at the Canon a few nights ago. The front of the mezzanine is fine, but the mid-to-back of the mezzanine is awful - you feel miles away from the stage, and the sightlines are pretty steep. Also, the spotlights also hit you in the back sometimes. Despite its beauty, the Canon isn't a well-designed theatre; orchestra seats are the best, and front mezzanine is a backup option. But don't go for the mid-mezzanine, you'll feel alienated from the performance.

Hehe was anyone on this board at the Joseph children's choir auditions in 94 or 96?
My choir made finals, and we sang at the Pantages (oops...>Canon) during the day when Phantom wasn't performing.....it was so neat to look up when on stage and see the chandelier!!
Just bought my tickets to Wicked! Man, it seems these tickets are selling fast. I'm going Thursday, March 17th and will be sitting in the Orchestra, Row L, Seats 33-34. I can't believe it's only in Toronto for 7 weeks, because I think there's a large audience here that can sustain it for much longer.
well since I bought the tickets I can either pick from for CC in the orchestra, but off to the far right, or row BB of the mezzanine slightly off to the left.
I already saw the show on broadway from the front row, so I was thinking I might prefer to see it from the mezzanine this time...
who knows...
I picked front row Mezz, because I am tall, and the operator said the leg room there would be better. We will see.
I wish the show was at the Princess of Wales.
well I am taking one niece but my sis & her husband are taking my other niece so I hadda go for a cheap seat along with them so the siblings don't rival like they usually do. Not really bothered saw it in NY w the the originals.
I'm suprised so many people want to see a musical about croquet.
'Wicket' has many sold out performances, and it's only been on sale for one day.
