He just randomly did "So long, Farewell!" at the end of his segment at DAVID LETTERMAN and to conclude his performance, four children dressed in SOUND OF MUSIC attire came out for the final "goodbyes."

HILARIOUS! Very unexpected and twas a good laugh.
