I'm seeing the show the first or second week of February and I was so upset to find out I might miss her by a week or two. You knowledgeable folk - are we thinking she's going to renew or not?
If you can, see the show before the end of the year... January can be harsh
On "Show People" with Paul W. on bway.com, she said she didn't know if she was renewing yet, she is considering it.

The show making it to February is questionable considering its recent box office plunge

I really wouldn't be surprised if Cinderella did what Evita did. It opened at exactly the same time (one year later), did very well in the beginning, then plummeted and closed in January. The grosses, timeline, and theatre size between the two are very similar. Cinderella has a better chance of getting a huge box office boors during the holidays though.
Well, I'm going with school so I don't have the option to go at a different time... The school has already ordered the tickets.

What Box office plunge? their gross looks fine.
If you look at the grosses, you will notice there has been a steady (and quite drastic) decline in the grosses. Which is to be expected with the Fall, but depending on their weekly nut, they could be losing money.
Bumping this - any news? I'm going the 5th of February... I know Santino and a few others will be gone. Any news on Laura? Does the fact that others have been announced as leaving by now mean she's probably staying? I'm just really anxious, I really want to see her in it.

Laura will be in The Threepenny Opera at the Atlantic Theatre Co
Anyone actually know anything?

She will be gone. She's doing Threepenny with a F. Murray Abraham, Sally Murphy, Lilli Cooper...

That is not guaranteed at all. She is doing a reading in January of a classic musical that has already announced its 2014 Broadway run.

Oh--it's official, don't you worry.
Unless you are Laura or her agent, it is not official at all. She has a major reading scheduled and I'm sure it would be more attractive to her to do a first ever Broadeay production of a famous classic musical than a revival of Threepenny at a small off Broadway non profit.
So there's still a chance she will be in the show February 5th? That's only 1 week after her contract ends... I thought the cast for Threepenny had already been announced, and I didn't see her name on it.
Is she in the Dames at Sea workshop?

Ok-see you at the Atlantic.
Much of the cast will be leaving in January and new principals will be coming in. I know Santino Fontana is leaving in January 2014.
Wait, I'm confused. What production is she reading for, and when is this reading? Is she in the Atlantic production or working on a Broadway production?
Gtrus2, yes.
Btales, what is your source?

Many friends in the production. Martha Clarke is in charge--this is no minor production off-Broadway. It has the potential to move to Broadway if all goes well. It's a major revival.
I agree that anything from Atlantic can move, but why would she be doing the January workshop of Dames if she is already booked? Just for ****s and giggles?
So all things considered... she's not going to be in the show February, is what you're saying.
Have no idea. Don't know when Threepenny rehearses if indeed she is a "lock" for that, which is news to me, and the Dames workshop is in January and the Broadway production is months and months away.
