Since we have The Golden Girls and The Nanny (prologues to a stepping stone in revolutionizing television), here's the Will and Grace Thread.
What's your favorite Karen line?
Who are you most like?
What is your favorite episode?
And if you could guest star a new love interest for Will, who would it be (gay, straight,bi,tri)?

What's your favorite Karen line?
How'd ya hurt your back? Running from good taste!
Who are you most like?
Lately, Karen. I went along with a friend to Walmart and I said out of no where "Well that a nice little field trip into poverty, where to next? The local K-mart?"
What is your favorite episode?
The Thanksgiving Episode when they all travel to each other's familys and Debbie does the Told Ya So Dance
And if you could guest star a new love interest for Will, who would it be (gay, straight,bi,tri)?

What's your favorite Karen line?:
(thanksgiving episdoe)
Karen: I'm thankful, I found a pharmacologist whose as dumb as a box of hair.
However my all time favorite moment is:
Rosario: When I prayed to the Madonna for a husband, you were not what I had in mine.
Jack: YOU PRAY TO MADONNA, TOO!!

I'm a mix between Karen and Jack lol
I'm a bitch like Karen, but I'm fun like Jack.....the way they compliment each other's personalities is my entire personality.
I can't pick a favorite Karen line, but my favorite Karen moment was when Madonna's character was kicking Karen out of the apartment, and Karen came to realize that she owned the building. That was priceless!
I like the "Told-Ya-So" dance, but it lost its charm after a while.

My friend dated this moron that's dumped her before, and I "told her" she'd regret it and he'd dump her again. My prophecy came true and I did for a full day non-stop the Told Ya So dance. That's Priceless...
Thanksgiving Episode
Wills Mom: Isnt food such fun?
Karen: Oh God Im in Hell
Wills Mom: Anyone for a martini?
Karen: OoOo Heaven!

Favorite line: Karen,to Jack: "Honey, you're as gay as a clutch purse on Tony night!"
Favorite episode: It's an early one. Jack does a cabaret act during open mike night. It's also the one where Grace redecorates Harlan's apartment. Harland was Will's old boss.
This was the beginning of "Just Jack!"
Who I'm most like...a combination of all 4 but closest to Will.
Love interest? Bring back the guy who played Barry last season. I forget his name. They would make a cute couple.

Like most men, of any sexuality, I'm a mix of Jack and Will and also Grace's main men Harry Connick and Woody Harrelson (who cares what their character names were, they played themselves anyway). What I wish I could be are some of the hunky humps that Jack and Will and Grace have bedded and dumped or been dumped by (in fact the one that had sex with Jack but had decorator's adultery with Grace looks like a smaller and less sexy version of VOICEANTH).
Though I like Karen's lines, I really prefer her physical schticks with Jack, including the infamous "denied/accepted human ATM machine" and "kiss it, kiss it, now slap it." I also enjoy her various "getting-physically-turned-on-in-spite-of-herself" lazzi. She's a fine physical comedienne as well, for all of Messick's comparisons to Lucille Ball (though Grace has some funny slapstick and faces herself).
Will's new love interest? for the in crowd and NYCer's a great joke would be Craig Bierko. For the rest of the country, either Kevin Kline or Tom Selleck (particularly funny given his stint on FRIENDS, and if he'd be on the rebound from his former lover Monica) or Kerr Smith from DAWSON'S or Doug Savant from MELROSE or Al Corley from DYNASTY (get the pattern?!?!)

I saw that episode yesterday Albin. When Jack stood up and said "Hey! Hey! Hey! This is JUST JACK not the Will and Grace show!" and then Karen was teaching Jack to dance and Karen was humping his ass for like 2 full minutes of the show.
Did anyone else think the plumber Karen almost commited adultery with in the "Thanksgiving Episode" was God's Gift to the World? His tanned body.......and those eyes. *shivers*

I liked the maintenance man at the hotel who thought Karen was a maid better. He used to be Christina Applegate's love interest on her sitcom I think...Bruno Campos? is that the right name?
I also liked the actor that both Jack and Karen were drooling over at Jack's fake audition, whose crotch inspired one of my favorite Karen lines: "Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a weiner!"
And the actor in Jack's class who took his shirt off.
Last night's syndicated episode, from the first season at Halloween, was when Jack says to Karen: "No one's gonna harm you, not while I'm around..." then sings it. Her reply was: "That's just what I need for comfort when I'm about to be mugged, an Angela Lansbury ballad." (or words to that effect)I hadn't remembered it before. Priceless!

Yeah, Bruno Campos was his name. He was from Argentina on the show. Christina is going to star in Prince Charming this July on TNT with Bernadette Peters and Martin Short.
The episode when Karen's mom asks her to do one last job for her! She gives Karen a bag of really bad 80's clothes and Karen looks in the bag and then says " Oh My God...Is Grace in on this?"

My favorite Karen lines are during her fights with Leslie, the short snobby queeny guy.
1) "Shouldn't you be in a tree making cookies?"
and
2) "And if you'd sit on a phone book, it would be nice to see you too!!!"

I love the episode where Karen and Christine Ebersole are at the spa.
Karen: How is 60?
Christine: Don't you remember?
I also love the episode where Jack FINALLY meets Cher and doesn't believe it's her. CLASSIC!

I love the 'Fagmalion' trilogy of episodes. Among others.
I think I am like Will. Erik McCormack and I share a birthday too.
Favoite line : I have two
Jack: Karen's a bottom!
Karen: "Honey, you're as gay as a clutch purse on Tony night!"

My favorites are Jack and Karen especially when they act shallow.
Favorite episodes are with Karen and Beverly Leslie sniping at each other. They do have the best lines.
I don't care much for Grace so I never think she is funny........

Posted: 6/25/03 at 7:22pmI am like NONE of Fabulos Four! I identify with Rosario- a seemingly menial person who basically runs the world (well Karen's anyway) and has ways of getting her own back! HAHA! ( also she ate the whole turkey in the Thanksgiving episode GOD did I identify!!!)

Glenn Close Episode!
(Grace unzips her pants)
Glenn Close: Cheap underwear! YOURE JEWISH!
The Fagmalion episodes were good. Who was that guy playing Karen's cousin? He was pretty cute. He was in the dysfunctional family movie "Big Girls Don't Cry". I almost started to cry when he dumped Will. I identified with Will there. My favorite line from the Fagmalion episodes was Karen's "Ladies.... Gentlemen ....and the Undecided".

Favorite Karen Line:
(holding a martini) I have half a mind to throw this martini at you!...Oh who am i kidding?
I am Most Like:
JACK...*hands* Just Jack, 2003!
Favorite Episode:
will broke his leg or ankle or something to do with his pain and became addicted to the pain medication. Grace and Jack take them away from his and he says "I need those! I have PAIN!" and jack says "EFFIE WE ALL GOT PAIN!!!" gotta love the dreamgirls line. and what's even funnier is that the audience didn't get it! there was NO laughter at that point. i was laughing hysterically cuz i knew i was one of few to get the joke.
Guest Star Love Intrest for Will:
hmmm.....no idea. (i'm bad at these things)

Omg, speaking of Will's broken ankle, remember the episode when James Marsden played THE POCKET GAY that Will ended up having a sex weekend with! He was Leo's friend and they all went Bike Riding. At the very end, he ran into Will's apartment. He's like 4 foot 9. It was hilarious.
THE POCKET GAY! A minitarized travel-sized homosexual used for sexual pleasure.

I can't remember the actor's name who played "Eliza" in FAGMALION, but he was also the son in THE BIRDCAGE. I loved the scene at the first where you can get the impression that Robin Williams is going to cheat on Nathan Lane with this hot younger guy (until you find out it's his son home for a surprise visit). That actor has played gay in other things too (I remember the coverage on him during his stint on JACK & KAREN) but he is actually straight.
Also not sure it was James Marsden who played the "pocket gay." i thought James Marsden was more conventionally attractive and played among other things Cyclops in X-MEN.

Maybe his name isn't James Marsden. It might be James Marston. I don't remember. That name just rang a bell. He was in the early Boy Meets World episode and he dated Dana in Step By Step. TGIF watchers know what I'm talking about.
Is it true Pickery and Higgins are gay partners like Will said? That was an interesting spin on it.

Posted: 6/25/03 at 9:01pmWell, they are 'confirmed bachelors'. As we all know, that is pre-stonewall slang for 'gay man'. And what str8 guy can teach a woman how to classy?? That is an impossibility.
