I'm actually in the city for the holiday and seeing LES MIS tomorrow night. If the lights dim for Comden, does this affect any shows? When do the lights generally dim?

I'll be placing a rose in front of the Winter Garden Theatre tomorrow for her. It'd be great to do it when the lights dim...

THANKS!

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Showtime, usually.

Considering the League is on holiday vacation, stuff won't happen 'til Monday.

It's usually the next night no matter what.

I've heard a lot about dimming the lights, but which lights do they dim and how?
