Will the righs for MOVIN' OUT ever be available?

I am very curious to know...obviously Twyla Tharp can't come and choreograph everyones show, but will the show ever be able to be produce by other theatre companies?

Incredibly doubtful. Just as FOSSE hasn't been routinely released, except in specific regional situations in which trusted members of the original creative team could be depended upon to faithfully reproduce Fosse's choreography. MOVIN OUT was all about Twyla Tharp's choreography. I don't even want to think what a high school or community theatre production would be like.

the only way I could see this happening is if one of Tharpe's proteges was in charge of overseeing and choreographing the production. Someone who was involved in the broadway show or tour and knows every specified piece of choreo.
