Will these shows be playing by March 2017?

War Paint, SpongeBob, Singin in the Rain, Amelie, The Wiz, Anastasia? Which ones are worth seeing?

I think none of them will be on Broadway as of March 1st 2017. Singin' in the Rain has been delayed. War Paint and SpongeBob have not announced transfers. The Wiz seems like it's been forgotten. Anastasia opens late April (the 23rd I believe). Amelie has not announced a date or theater, but I think it's supposed to open sometime in spring (allegedly).

Anastasia is already confirmed (Broadhurst) but won't start previews until late March (April 24th opening)

War Paint and Amelie seem confirmed, but don't have a theater. The former is supposedly going into the Nederlander.

Spongebob needs a large theater (1500+ seats), so it'll probably enter Broadway once a theatre is vacant.

I heard SITR may not be coming this season, but that may just mean the Fall.

Heard nothing about the Wiz yet. I'm assuming it won't be open at the moment.

War Paint, SpongeBob and The Wiz still have yet to even confirm a Broadway run. I'd say War Paint and SpongeBob are the most likely of the three to actually see a Broadway run next season. 

Amelie, too, has not yet confirmed a Broadway transfer/theater/dates. Only a Pre-Broadway regional engagement. 

Singin' in the Rain was postposed, as announced last week.

Anastasia will officially open April 24th, 2017, I believe. Begins previews a few weeks prior.

In 2018? I mean, I guess it's not really a stretch to assume such a thing, but I guess I just thought that it would open next spring...but the more I think about it the more I think you're right...

Perhaps you "heard" about it from the official press release announcing it wasn't coming in this season.
