Willing to get standing room for DEH 06/17

Hey,

my friend and I are willing to wait in line for DEH standing room overnight and pick up tickets for someone, if they are willing to cover our ticket costs.

What's with so many new posters signing up to post stuff like this. I really don't ever remember there being this much of it.

Yeah.  Explore the site and see if there is already on a thread on this.  Stop being lazy and yeah, buy your own tickets.  No one owes you anything.

Don't you recall a couple of GoFundMe requests for Hamilton trips last year? What happened to the days of getting a job and or earning your way?

I think it's a natural progression from the Hamilton cancellation line thread where folks started working together for tickets instead of going through line sitters.  Now the craze has moved on to DEH. Pre-Tonys people were in one thread, but now there are so many more folks, who don't read the boards at all, jumping in without looking.

ETA - I don't see anything wrong with it.  If you have the money to pay for others, then it's win/win and better than supporting scalpers.  Also, it's not any different than buying premium tickets. People with money get what they want.

I'm on the fence about this topic, I get it but at the same time I think it's messed up especially for those who are actually waiting on the line to get tickets and could possibly miss out because of something like this.

Which is what is happening right now in the line. The first people are trying to add tickets/people to get more than their allotment. Which is now causing issues because people who got here shortly after and are still going to wait 16+ hours will not get get tickets because people are making a profit.
