I was hoping Shannon would pull it off. Oh well. I'm sure she'll get a contract with someone. Harlem is different, and that's refreshing. So, I guess I'm not too distraught about Shannon not winning.

Shannon seems like she will be more successful than Harlemm. In my opinion.

Harlem is magical and gnomelike and has a beautifully controlled voice.........I think we will be hearing lots more from him.

I, too, got sucked in to watching FAME. Glad that Harlemm won...he's an interesting performer, to say the least. As far as Shannon Bex goes, I couldn't believe she got as far as she did. She's definitely got the packaging, but am I the only one that thought she sang woefully out-of-tune night after night after night?

the winner was on the today show yesterday and made no mention of the off bway show...does anybody know if he will be in it or if he has the option to turn it down? Cause he said he was going directly into the recording studio.
