While I agree almost entirely with your review of Man of LaMancha at Spotlighters, I contest that Kevin Kostic was inspired as the innkeeper, and one of the few actors on the stage that did perform his role well.
All in all, the show was a mess. Moreover, other problems with having a recorded score is that it can't adjust for the key of the actors. The entire closing "Impossible Dream" reprise was out-of-pitch and a pain to listen too. As Scroggins performed most of his Quixote songs in a key that was entirely different than that being played. This from a man who teaches singing for a living.
