Wonderettes

Was going to try to catch it next week, but haven't heard much about this production. Has anyone seen it yet? The cast seems awesome.

I thought it was adorable but then I really like all of that girl group music. The plot is not fabulous but the way they work in the songs is kind of clever. The singing is great on the whole. The acting leaves a bit to be desired but it's very broad comedy anyway so it doesn't make that big of a deal. The costumes are cute but it's a small space and there's not much to the production. If you like this kind of music (you can check out a previous incarnation on Spotify), go. I think you'll have a good time. It's a very jukebox-y jukebox musical and in that respect, it's excellent. Great individual vocals and great harmonies.
