Wonderful Piece On "BIG RIVER" Today

today on NBC today they had a wonderful segment on BIG RIVER. This show looks wonderful. I saw on one of the websites that either the capacity or the money wasnt so high. But, I wish this show wonderful success because it's so different from anything that's out there right now and opens doors for both hearing and non-hearing communities.

It was agreat feature.

God, I wish I could have McElroy's body. I am so jealous of poeple that look like that.


The $$$$ isn't as high as most musicals due to the fact that it is in a small theatre. The American Airlines seats around 750 I believe.

I agree with the both of you. I saw the feature today as well. What a beautiful piece of work. I did this show when I was in High School and the music is beautiful. What a great adaptation. It opens the door on so many things hopefully it will be a success. Good Luck Big River!!!

I woke up with my TV on at that channel and heard the story. I thought it was supposed to be on July 8?

Wow - thanks for reminding me. I'd heard it was going to be shown on the 8th - but I forgot to tape it - then I read last night it would be on this morning - but forgot to set my VCR again. For once I'm glad I'm in such a late time zone here. :) Thanks for the reminder.

I saw some of the songs at Broadway in Bryant Park. I posted about how beautiful I thought it was, especially whent he deaf man, and the man who could hear sang the song "Worlds Apart" together. It looks great.
