Meanwhile, do yourself a favor, get on Amazon.com and buy yourself a used copy of the Roz Russell version. It's all about the surprise element of hearing a dramatic actress, kick up her heels, let down her hair and go for broke. AND SHE IS JUST WONDERFUL! Listen to your Auntie Gladys, dearie, she's been around the block a few times and doesn't mean to preach, just trying to pass on a bit of theatrical folklore to the next generation.

I LOVE that recording. It's been in my CD player all week...
And some of those little diddies really do drive you insane (well, at least when they're stuck in your head all day and you can't remember all the lyrics at the moment), but you can't help but love 'em all the same. ![]()
I still can't wait for the new recording. I adored Donna's Ruth... she was phenomenal.
