Would you see a show in "preview"? — Page 2

Jordangirl, "talk backs" and producers' interaction with the audience is also a cool and rewarding thing about previews. Once the show oficially opens, it's harder to have this oportunity.
I was involved in one preview, and it made me feel like a VIP when the producers came to talk to me, wanting to know who I was, and my opinion of the show :}

bwaybabe2 ~ I completely agree. In the case of Next to Normal, I was at an early talk back, which was cool. Then when they implemented changes a week before closing, I was there the night they put the changes in, and Michael Greif remembered me from the talk back (he said) and asked me what I thought of the changes (possibly he remembered since the changes involved the removal of "Costco" which I'd asked about in the talkback). But it was definitely fun at least feeling like I was in some little way part of the evolution of the show.

I, like others, have to see shows when time and money permits. If it's in previews, all the better!

Like sally1112, I like to see a show during previews and then if I'm able - time and money factor - revisit after opening to see what changes have been made.
