Wouldn't Sebastian Arcelus be PERFECT as Emmet!

I think that the next Emmet in Legally Blonde should be Sebstian Arcelus. He would be great. He is not gorgeous but he is cute in his own way much like Christian Borle which Emmet should be. He is funny and as a great voice, all the qualities an Emmet should have. Please respond, I want to hear views and maybe better casting than Sebastian.

I am NOT anti-Sebastian. In fact I am in love with the man. I just don't think he should waste his talent on that show.

He doesn't read as young as Christian Borle does, and to be perfectly frank, I don't think he'd be very good in that role. I didn't like him as Fiyero at all, either, though I hear he's quite good in Jersey Boys. He didn't have the classic good looks for Fiyero, nor does he possess Emmet's rugged sexuality.

And, on the contrary, I think Arcelus does read younger than Borle on-stage.

I enjoy a quirky Emmett, and I haven't yet seen that quality from Arcelus. I'm sure he could handle the role, though.

I wish they would just bump up Bryce Ryness. He's fantastic. If they were stunt casting I think Lee Pace would be a great Emmett.
