Wow, Anna Popplewell from the "Narnia" films played Wendla in Oxford's "Spring Awakening."

I came across an article that said Anna Popplewell played Wendla in a production of "Spring Awakening" at the Oxford Playhouse in 2008. Even though I am not the biggest fan of this show I wish I could've seen her in it. She's a very good actress. did any of you get to see her in this?

Just to bear in mind this was the original Wedekind play, not the Sheik/Sater musical (which they've just done at the Keble O'Reilly, apparently!)

I didn't see it, but she was at Oxford at the tail end of my time there and seemed to be winning student plaudits all over the place, all credit to her.

I go to Cambridge and have several friends in common with the younger Popplewell (Love Actually, His Dark Materials etc.) and she seems to have made no move to do further acting. Glad PPW Snr. is keeping it up.
